Growth assays of β-glucosidase mutant strains in plates and in liquid cultures. A. Growth and morphology on cellobiose plates. The same amount of conidia was spotted on VMM + 1% sugar + 0.11 M Tris (pH 8) plates and incubated at 25° C for 7 days. Tris was added to achieve colonial growth (acc. to Huberman et al. 2017).
