Inhibition effect of protease on the antimicrobial activity of polybia-MPI and D-MPI. The proteases used were trypsin (a and b) and chymotrypsin (c and d). Peptides with proteases of different concentration which ranged from 0.0002 to 2 mg/ml (tenfold) were incubated for 1 h (left) or 6 h (right) at 37 °C, respectively.
