Assays for characteristics related to biocontrol (a) Three transparent halos were found on the plates containing phytate phosphorus, indicating that strain K01 has excellent potential for phytate phosphorus solubilization, (b) No transparent halo were found on the plates containing tricalcium phosphate, indicating that strain K01 may not be able to dissolve inorganic phosphorus on media containing tricalcium phosphate, (c) Protease production by K01 on skimmed milk agar plates, (d) Cellulase production by K01 on congo red cellulose plates
