Bacterial growth and profiles of vitamin D 3 bioconversion activity of the parent Actinomyces hyovaginalis isolate A11-2 in a laboratory fermenter, when adding the substrate 2 and 3 days after the beginning of main culture. Vitamin D 3 bioconversion activity is expressed in terms of amounts of calcitriol produced. Fructose was used as the carbon source of the fermentation medium, while other applied culture conditions were as those stated in the legend of Fig. 2
