Bacterial growth and profiles of vitamin D 3 bioconversion activity of the parent Actinomyces hyovaginalis isolate A11-2 in a laboratory fermenter, using fructose and glucose as carbon sources. Vitamin D 3 bioconversion activity is expressed in terms of amounts of calcitriol produced. Soybean was used as the nitrogen source of the fermentation medium, while other applied culture conditions were as those stated in the legend of Fig. 2
