Bacterial growth and profiles of vitamin D 3 bioconversion activity of the parent Actinomyces hyovaginalis isolate A11-2 in a laboratory fermenter, using soybean and skim milk as nitrogen sources. Vitamin D 3 bioconversion activity is expressed in terms of amounts of calcitriol produced. Inoculum size was 2% v/v, while other applied culture conditions were as those stated in the legend of Fig. 2
