Growth and vitamin D 3 bioconversion activity profiles of the parent Actinomyces hyovaginalis isolate A11-2 in a laboratory fermenter, using different inoculum sizes. Vitamin D 3 bioconversion activity was expressed in terms of amounts of calcitriol produced. The agitation rate was 200 rpm, while other applied culture conditions were as those stated in the legend of Fig. 2
