Immunofluorescence assay. Adenovirus-infected HEK293A cells were incubated with sdAb 5 antibody and visualized with CoraLite®488-conjugated 6*His His-Tag mouse monoclonal antibody. HEK293A cells uninfected with adenovirus rAd26 were used as a negative control. The cell nuclei were stained with DAPI. The fluorescent signal and images were obtained using confocal microscopy. The merged images showed the localization of adenovirus rAd26 in HEK293A cells (Fig. 11A), but there was no fluorescent signal in the uninfected HEK293A cells (Fig. 11B)
