Effect of different handling of resting cells of E. coli C43 (DE3) pET22b-cyp105D + pCOLADuet-pdx-pdr on testosterone 1 conversion and formation of 2β-hydroxytestosterone 2 (2β-OH-Tes). Reaction conditions: 50 mg/mL wet cells in 0.5 mL Phosphate Sucrose EDTA (PSE)- buffer with 1 x nutrient solution, pH 7.5 in 2 mL reaction tubes; 1 mM testosterone 1 dissolved in 5% (v/v) propan-2-ol as final concentration, 25 °C, 1100 min⁻¹ shaking frequency, reaction time 20 h. All measurements were performed in technical duplicates. In case a standard deviation is given, experiments were additionally conducted in biological duplicates
