a Cellulose and b xylan plates showing clearing zone by thermophilic bacterial isolates. The thermophilic bacterial isolates were grown on CMC agar and xylan agar plates respectively and incubated at 50 °C for 48 h. The plates were flooded with 0.1% congored followed by destaining with 1 M NaCl. The presence of a halo around the colonies represents hydrolytic activity, cellulolytic as well as xylanolytic respectively
