The relative abundance of predominant bacterial phylum in mature biofilms, COD = 400 mg/L. Nine classified archaea were detected and listed in Table 1. Methanospirillum and DHVEG-6 were both dominant in three biofilms. They both accounted for 96.02, 99.6 and 99.6%, respectively, at wall-shear stresses of 0.8, 1.29 and 2.0 Pa. The proportion of methanospirillum in this study increased with the increase of wall-shear stress, but DHVEG-6 was decreased with the increase of wall-shear stress
