Time-killing kinetics curves for polybia-MPI and D-MPI against E. coli (a and b), S. aureus (c and d) and C. glabrata (e and f). Standardized cells suspensions were incubated with a final concentration of peptides of 1/2× MIC, 1× MIC, 2× MIC, 4× MIC. At different time intervals, samples were taken respectively from each tube and serially diluted. Then 100 µl of the dilution were plated for colony counts. Controls were without peptide. Each data point represents mean result ± standard deviation (error bars)
