Evaluation of mating abilities of the derivative strains K76A and K76AL. Images showing colony formation on SD/MSG + G418 plates in the mating assay are shown. The Parent strains were K76 (a/α-type cells), and the Derivative strains were K76A (isolated as a-type cells) and K76AL (isolated as α-type cells), respectively.
