Macroscopic morphology of A. niger MYA 135 in submerged fermentation. Pictures show fungal mycelia developed in basic medium at 25°C (A), 30°C (B), 37°C (C), pH 2(D), pH3 (E), pH4 (F), pH5 (G), pH6 (H), pH7 (I) and pH8 (J) as well as those obtained in the presence of either 0.5 g l-1 CaCl2 (K) or 1.0 g l-1 FeCl3 (L). Bar represents 1 mm. These images were taken after 72 h of cultivation.
