  1. Reactions were performed in sodium phosphate/citrate buffer (pH 4.5 or 5.5) in the presence of 2 mM H2O2 at 25°C. The Km for the co-substrate H2O2 was determined in the presence of 5 mM veratryl alcohol. The data are means of three parallel experiments with standard deviation < 5%.
